leaky carb

I have a 84 kdx 200 the hoses that run out of the side of the carb one of them is leaking gas I thought it was an overflow so I checked the floats they looked ok I pulled out the float valve that looked worn and thought it might not be sealing properly so I replaced it and it is still leaking gas Itried tosee what else it could be I am not to sure what to look for the repair manual is not much help any suggestions anyone

The bike is uprite and its leaking? Is the bike running? Does it leak before you run it or after?

the bike is upright and runs fine when I go riding and stop with the engine running or not I notice it leaking it is kind of hard to tell if it leaks while I am riding

Check your float level. Don't know what it is for an '84. Sorry.
