Leatt brace with Shoei VFX

Anyone have helmet interference with their Leatt neck brace? I just got the "Club" version, and when I stand on the pegs and look straight ahead, the back of the helmet contacts the rear member of the brace. It prevents me from keeping my head up as much as I'm used to. I've adjusted the rear member to its lowest position, but I still feel like I can't get my head pointed straight - the brace kinda makes me have to look down at my handlebars (not quite that extreme, but you get the idea). Not sure if it's my helmet, my riding style, the brace, or just me. Guess I can live with it if I have to, but interested to hear other's experiences.
