I'd like to find a nice pair of riding pants. Something that will tuck into boot's nicely. (jeans and boot's don't work well together!)
Something tough, but at the same time pretty low key. I'm a new rider, and just don't feel it's necessary to be all dressedup like a motocross superstar. I think I would actually feel pretty silly all dressed up as I flail through the desert with very little riding style (for now).

I've got a good set of boot's and a good helmet. I decent pair of pants and I think that's all I'll need.

Army BDU paints (battle dress uniform). One of the AA riders in a HS series I race wares them all the time. Room for knee pads or braces. Not to bulky to tuck in to boots.

Many of the "freestyle" over the boot pants can be found in black. They work well, have pockets, fairly simple, and the over the boot feature keeps water out of the boots. The only type of pants I purchase now for riding.

Called around and found a pair of BDU's cheap. Desert camo so they won't be too hot come summer time. I checked them out, they are double stiched, will go nicely in a boot, and have really nice cargo pockets.
Perfect!!!
thanks for the good idea!
