While watch the outdoor nationals the commentators occasionally talk about making up time on a 250 is easier than on a 125 if you make a mistake. OK, well how do you make up time if your pushing as hard as you should be? :|
A 125 is so close to flat out with a top ama rider that its hard to make up time, on a 250 very few mortals can really use all the power-so if a rider goes down, and starts to ride without worry for life of limb he can make up alot of time(eg Tortelli a few years ago went for last to top 3-also RCs done similar i think) now bubba is the exeption to the rule-he however is not of this earth.
I just thought is was a goofy thing for them to say considering that the pro riders should be riding the wheels off of their bikes. As far a Stewart goes, if he doesn't end up in a heap nobody will see him, Nobody.
