Still lurk from time to time. Still ride as much as possible (though less frequently these days). Still suck at it, but at least I have fun right? I had some fun at the Both the Dirtweeks I attended. I moved a few months back and was cleaning out some stuff and came across a group photo that was pretty cool. I met some good folks from this site. I don't check in a lot, but do from time to time. I bumped into a few fellas from the Heartland Bunch at an enduro in OKC a while back and even Stan and Grady at an enduro at Red River. I think I was actually on Stan's row or maybe he was one ahead of me. Not sure he finished that one.

Up until a couple months ago I was still here several times a day. New job has me in a cube farm and can't bring up non-work related pages. hardly touch the computer outside of work.

Some of my best friends were made here and are still my best friends.

Damn, Tony...I was about to give you a hard time about riding your wife's bike with the magic button but then after hearing you wheeze, whine, moan, and make Kalifornia-butt-puncher-mating-sounds I was kinda glad you had the button.

Was there a reason you kept tossing the bike into the bushes?

What was that white stuff on the trail? Should I alert Occifer Punch-a-fellow?

Without the button I would have died on that mountain. As for the bushes, trail maintenance.

Thanks for the video. Since there is snow on the ground where I live and it’s too cold for me to be outside, much less ride. The trail look fun but the drop offs on the side looked a bit scary. Are they as steep as the look?

I was actually more interested in what the sticker on your visor said. I felt like a little kid on Christmas, more interested in the boxes and wrapping paper than the presents :)

It's steep but not that bad. This one is bad.....

The sticker is Seat Concepts. Comfort off road and dual sport seats. Check them out...

Wow, how I miss this place. So many lawns, so few hours in a day. I still talk about Dirtweek to this day. The Mrs. found my Dirtweek photo a few weeks, damn, what a freaking hoot of a time. Off the dirt for a while, but looking to get back again next year. Treat myself to a new ride, haven't figured that out yet.

Still doing the Lord's work at the mall, lots of perps and immigrants with licenses. You folks were a solid part of my life and still are. I still hate Gomer for riding my bike in a thong, I burned that seat cover twice. And to all my brothers, I am still around, just not as much and I am sorry for that. I will lurk and post more again, I promise. Sorry to hear the news Okie, my thoughts are with you guys.

More to follow…Thump the Chump!!

Work, work, work, work, work..., ya get the picture. The state of our country has changed so much and I do everything I can to survive and that leaves little time to enjoy my favorite pastime. I like being able to follow a lot the old regulars on FB but it is not the same. I still get logged on to DRN weekly but don't post much and I get to ride every other month or so.
It's really hard to NOT talk politics but so much has changed. The economy is so stagnant and could expand at anytime, that would at least open up the opportunity to play on my dirtbike more but for now, I'll just keep working to keep what I have and savor the memories until I can create some more.

Wow, good to see all these names again.

Dirt week was my favorite vacation as well, Stan and I always had a blast, and came home dog tired.

Stan and his Wife moved to Nashville TN a few months back, they and their dogs are living in an rv in my parents back yard on a lake, until their house sells here, then plan on buying one there.

My Wife and I retired after a ruptured brain aneurysm almost killed her in Jan 2009, we sold everything, I quit a good job, and we traveled in an rv, then our Daughter had our first grandson, Wife wanted to be more involved, so we settled back down in a house again. Daughter had our second grandchild, a girl, then left our son in law, now lives with us with a one year old and a one WEEK old. Life is busy again, but I have no plans on working, would cut into my coffee time.

Great thread!!!!

Btw, I still ride, often.
