I recently bought a pw50 for my son to ride. I got it from 3000’ lower in elevation. Rode it before I bought it and it sputtered a bit at FT with my 205 lb butt on it. Brought it home and my son rode and now it won’t start. I was told it has a new carb and a 80cc kit on it. I don’t know much about these or the terminology. I set the pilot out to1 3/8 as the manual says and the idle in till the piece in the carb starts to lift. Then backed out 1/2 turn. Still no dice. Plug looked like it was wet when I pulled it so I cleaned, adjusted and kicked. And repeated. Any help would be great. Thanks!

So, there are no valves on the PW50...it's a 2 stroke.

Moded bikes can be hard to diagnose since there aren't any published specs to go by. If it was set up to run at 3000 ft higher than where you currently are, it is probably just rich and need to be rejetted. Here a good article on jetting that should make it fairly easy.
