I have a 1983 CR500 that I am thinking about modifying the head to fit a compression release. I was planning to use a compression release system from a 490 Maico as they seem to work pretty good. The compression gets to be a bit much for a tired old guy kicking it over during an event.
Has anyone tried this type of modification on their own bike?
