I got a decent deal on a standard Motion Pro cable ($10), so I bought it. The thing I noticed about it is that the little metal end piece on the cable housing that goes into the clutch adjuster (the piece that screws into the perch) doesn't fit in! It still works, but I'm not too happy with the fit and finish. The rubber bousing is thicker than the stock cable, which is a good thing I guess.
