Just don't forget about us Yanks while riding in that mudless State they call New Mexico :)

Make that mudless and treeless. You might uproot an occasional tumbleweed, but they give a little more than trees. I'm sure it will be a whole new riding experience out here.

He's gonna have plenty of trees up in his neck of the woods. He close to all that Jemez mountain stuff, all he's gotta do is hook up with someone that knows the trails. The trees may be a little further apart but there's no shortage of rocky, steep, high altitude terrain. In the summer the trials club puts on multiple events that are so close to Los Alamos that he can sleep late and still make the riders meeting.

Oh lordy, don't tell him THAT!! Don't you realize that's like free crack to a drug addict??

We plan on riding ANYwhere and EVERYwhere in NM and surrounding areas. I can see I'm going to have to start gathering a collection of brass for re-jetting my poor 250 every other weekend!

Sorry for falling out of my own thread. :) I just moved into an apartment and had no internet for a couple of days.

Thanks for the well wishes everyone! I meant it when I said that we would miss all the DYDR regulars. There's so many good memories there:
RMGuy getting plastered with mud at Modena.
PK's campfire contrails.
TreeJumper's ground hog hand puppet.
WoodsRider crashing his brains out at any ride we could get him to show up for.
Canadians + tight trees - handguards = humor.
PK's first trip west of Mass.
The first annual Sleepy Hollow Death March.
Trigger's famous attempt to wheelie through a paragon water hole.
Lots and Lots of quality campfire BS.
And lots of great trail riding from Canada to Pennsylvania.
Sqeeky, Dave, Scooter, Matthew, Captian Obvious and all the other great DYDR regulars.

I'm looking forward to getting to ride here in northern New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, etc. It's a gorgeous area but very different from the north east.

Tony, Lori and I are both looking forward to Moab.:yeehaw:
