Thanks ,, it's been a fun project and the bike is a keeper.
Even thought the bikes are virtually identical in o.e.m design,
I prefer riding this bike over my 220. I'd say the suspension
settings are closer for our type of terrain. And the motor is so smooth with good power.

I'm always tinking or trying something new.

I made a reed valve spacer out of 1/8" aluminum and
it did make a difference that you could feel.

Was it night and day , NO , but added a little more bottom.

Just a little fine tuning as it shows how sensitive 2 strokes
really are.

HOW BOUT ALL THIS CHATTER ABOUT THE 2 STROKE COME
BACK !! nod: :)

The other thing we're doing is to stiffen the bike back up for a more aggressive riding style . The .35 fronts with a 4.6 rear gave the bike a good balance for a beginner rider but after riding my 220 which is fairly stiff , we're putting .37 front springs in along with the
factory 5.0 rear. Should be much better

I didn't realize how much this bike wallowed in the rough untill I put the stiffer springs in ,,,, what a difference. I also tightened up the dampening some.

I've settled on a 12/49 gearing for our type of riding , good responsive low end but too short legged.
