No 250 MXC for 2002?

I may be way behind the curve on this, but my dealer said that there were only the E/XC and the SX models being offered in the 250 for 2002. This was according to his spec. sheet for the new models. Has anyone else heard anything on this?

I'd heard it was possible but I hadn't heard it confirmed.
