I have a Rm 250 and i have no spark at the plug.

I have changed the spark plug, stator, and checked all the wiring for shorts.

according to the volt meter the Magneto assy makes power

I am worried that it might be the CDI, what else could be the problem?

ideas? anyone else with this problem??

You did check the coil? Is the stator plate on correct and timed? Check the rotor and pick up with an ohm meter, you will need the manual to get the specs, should have specs on the cdi also.

Make sure it's not just a faulty kill switch/wiring before you lash out on a CDI, just an extra idea plug caps can open circuit sometimes and kill the spark, unscrew it (the cap)and sit the lead 5-10 mil of the head and kick to check.

would that arc the lead to the cylinder??

I did not think about the kill switch...

I really need a manual for this bike

What is better Clymers or the Factory service manual? THe FSM is about 10$ cheaper too.
