OK so what bike have I got ?

I'm told it's 1992 KDX 200 A1 if there is such a thing....

I bought a manual and it all seems to look exactly the same but the manual doesn't mention at any point the 2-Stroke oil system at all :coocoo: ....

No reference to oil at all other than it suggests a ratio of 32:1 (which makes me think its a premixer it's refering to)

My log book says KDX 200 A1 but I can't find any reference to an A1.

The manual that covers 1992 states it's an E1.

I'm bloody confused :whoa:

The main reason I bought the manual was to find out a little more about the way it delivers the 2-stroke oil and how I could check it's all working fine...

anyone know how I do that ???

Look at the third thread down in the Kdx forum (the sticky)-"kdx200f info page".
I think the main differences are the steel tank, smaller carb, different cylinder porting and muffler. They also have all the road gear and wiring.

In that thread you will find info on the oil pump.

turns out its a KDX200SR. which is the road legal one......
