Just got back from running the expert loop for a hare scrambles out in FALLEN TIMBER. The whole loop was tight, slick root infested, mixed with loose rock climbs. This loop is in the rocky mountains and is all steep climbs and decents. The only flats on the course were through muskeg meadows. I ran roughly the same loop a couple of weeks ago and boiled her three times under dry conditions. Today it was wet and slippery and she never boiled once eventhough she took way more abuse. After the first few sections of abuse I stopped to feel the hoses and they definetly were not as hot as they usually are (I could hold onto them for about three times as long as before). The cure for MY bike was EVANS NPG+ coolant. It's not cheap but neither is a chronically overheating bike. :cool:
