Eel, your reminding me of my younger days. Had a '84 KX125, that blew up about every 3rd ride. It was my first upgraded bike from the one I learned on '76 CR125. Man I was stoked to have it, it ran soooo much better(for a short time), rode smoother etc. but in the end after the 5th engine rebuild , and a broken frame, I gave in and sold it for parts and bought another. I hope your story ends differently,but its sounding similar to mine.

By the way the bike I bought after it was a CR500. Now there a learning curve. :p

This is a tough one, I've got plans to go to the Pamona car swap meet in the morning, 0530. Flo's for breakfast then off to the show. I'll watch the posts and see where you finally end up and if I can change the plans with the group I'm with, I'll ride.

By the way, It's Wilson Ranch Road south of Phelan Road. At least my bike is still together, so far. Thumbs, makes sure the rag is far away from your air cleaner, you know how those things get sucked in there!!

I'm good for Sunday if you guys can settle on a time. I've got to re-jet tomorrow-the air's a lot colder right now. Be sure to bring sweat-shirts/jackets, as the highs up here have been in the 45-60 degree range, although we're supposed to hit close to 70 on Sunday.
Also may want to invest in one of those cheesy $5.00 rain ponchos to throw in the fanny pack just in case we do get a sprinkle. (That's all we got up here from the last storm; a sprinkle!)
