I have a 2000 300mxc that I just had the forks serviced on a few weeks ago(oil and seals).
With the front end off the ground, forks fully extended and wheel off,There is some slop(movement) of the inner fork tubes where they slide into the larger outer tube. Both forks have about the same amount of slop in them.(steering stem bearings are fine, slop is definetely coming from inner fork tubes)

Is that normal to have movement between the fork tubes when they are fully extended or are the fork bushings worn out?
Could the movement be related to having them recently serviced?
If something is truly worn out, about how much will it cost to have them totally rebuilt?

THANKS FOR THE HELP

It is normal for a bit of play when they are fully extended-when you push them into the travel a few inches i bet the slop is alot less.
