Posting pictures in threads??

Before I get picture crazy - does posting pictures take up a lot of room on DRN? For example - I wanted to post three pictures in a thread of our new practice track - all under the 25000 byte limit - but don't want to go picture overboard. Just wondering?? Maybe it's better just to put 2? or 1 (how can I pick though :) )?
