Quieter pipe & spark arrestor for old RM

I have an 87 RM250 with an old ProCircuit exhaust and little round can type silencer. It is unbelievably loud, and no spark arrestor. What are my options? Best looking thing I've found so far is the Cobra Sparky, but I was surprised how much they cost. Will this do anything to quiet it down some too? I'm hesitant to put much more money in this bike as I'm trying to sell it & already have too much in it.

Well, the silencer is 2.00" OD. Looks like the smallest Sparky is 2.25". Bummer. :|

Do you need the spark arrestor for forestry reasons. If not, just try repacking your current silencer. New packing will decrease decibles.

i put a db snorkel on my fmf'd piped kdx220 and it really deadens the sound level
