Raising footpegs?

Is it possible to raise footpegs closer to the seat without any welding? Does anyone sell raised footpegs, or somethin like that. I rode a 125 last weekend and i think id do a little better on one with a shoter distance to the pegs from my seat. Im waitin till the 06 KTMs come out and i really dont wanna shave my seat foam. Also, arent KTMs a little shorter in seat height too?

I asked this question many months ago, and got no satisfactory answer beyond "weld them". However, I ended up cutting down my saddle as someone had suggested, and it gave better results than I expected. :)

Ktms aren't that short. Besides that , the footpegs are often not whelded symetrically on these bikes.
