RBMXoN, or MXDN?

In their infinite wisdom Youthstream and the FIM presumably got together one day and thought, 'You know what, that race we have every year, the Motocross Des Nations, that's had the same name since it began in 1947' 'That's no good for sponsors, and heaven nows we need them, so lets change it, no-one will notice'

So now we have the RedBull MotoX of Nations :yell:

If you think some things should not be messed with in the name of progress, please sign my petition and we'll see if we can get it changed back!

So is your issue the fact Red Bull seems to have secured title sponsorship or the fact it changed from MXDN to MXoN which happened 3 years ago?

Its the change to 'of', and the use of MotoX instead of Motocross. Nothing wrong with the sponsorship. Thanks for posting the link. I know it changed 3 years ago but us Europeans have been moaning about it since, just thought it was time to say something.
