hey folks i want to clear up this a little

I guess its why I don't post to much, my feet get to close to my mouth!!

I got this pm tonight thought is was to be shared with the class! I took out the author's name as to not make anymore waves!

DW2 could be alot of more fun! hey okie got good insurance!""???

below is what i recieved and what i replied with!................

"and boy oh boy don't go to michigan, we dont' have a towel big enough for those tears!"
CARE TO ELABORATE?

"LOL DW2 full afternoon class of " to be or not to be Stuffed""
SEE YOU THERE, TOUGH GUY! ;)

LOL hey don't take that wrong my meaning was this.....in michigan they play rough real rough! in years past if you didn't get nailed three times a moto you were not in a real MI class!!

NOW as far as "my" class is concerned.....i teach or at least help riders learn to perfect their riding skills, what i have never done and many have asked is to show them how to ride more aggressive and do it to win......like stuffin, slammin and stayin up.........

now for your challenge, if you don't believe i am honest with my intent,(above) then DW2 is fine also! LOL i played this game alot in the past just a little old for the game anymore!

interesting I never intended it to be a challenge but I do like those challenges!! YOU may be the "fastguy" so to play you may have to slow up for me the "fatguy"

Ahhh...opinions and orifices. It was a clean move. Travis duffed it, tried to get protect the inside, but Ricky was already there. Oh and to all that thought he should have slowed to pick a better line!? If you have DV on your tail, you ain't slowin for anybody, let alone the guy who just tried to take your line as you are setting up to pass him.

Hell, we've had dirtier moves at the Saturday night Z50 nationals-and we like each other:confused:

You want to see a take out move...

Get you hads on some sx action from the early 90's. Bradshaw, Chicken, and even Larry Ward performed some of the most blatant take out moves every displayed! TP pulled a Homer and goofed, end of story. TP looked faster then RC, but seamed more out of control IMO. Besides, what would eveyone say if RC fell down also?

Is Big Bill France writing this script? This ain't NASCAR! TP muffed it bigtime, and RC took advantage. Big deal. The SX fan's average IQ must be dipping every year. . .this crap KILLS me!

Why didn't anyone boo when Bubba blew Sellards off the berm? THAT was a blatant take-out.

travis certainly didn't take himself out... someone else put him on the ground....

Travis was leading the race..... when you are leading, you have the right to take any line you want to.... even if he slipped off line for a second, he still owns the right of way (so to speak..) ... the right of way for any line goes to the person in front... (rc can't claim it was "his" line)

RC pulled a stupid move.... he rammed Travis, and rammed him hard, with the intent of knocking him over.... he lost time by hitting him.... and endangered Travis, and himself, by intentionally ramming him.... it was 100% stupid, all the way around...

RC parked Bashen Telly hard in the 00'.... it proved to be the turning point of the series, as Seb never did recover mentally after that... RC made that move to be more of a statement (that he wanted the title at any cost), than to actually make a pass for the win...

maybe Opie was trying to make a statement by ramming TP... but this time, it was the completely WRONG one...

RC never parked Seb. He blocked for the win at budds and gave him a look back but no parking. I think when ever TP flails everone should stop and give him a second to get it together and take whatever line he wants. TP never takes himself out.

last comment on this

we do all realize how hard these guys are riding, and how hard they go into each and every corner? To think for one minute that RC could have or would have done this hit on purpose is ridiculous.
the reason is easy, 80% of the time if you hit any motorcycle behind the footpegs YOU will fall being the hitter, not the one getting hit. THis is Common race knowledge.
What I seen that happened was clear, Travis made a mistake and was off the inside line by maybe a foot of so, RC seeing the inside open for a split second accelerated hard for that spot, as travis realized a red fender was coming he stuck his leg out first in that area, then tried to return to that line, problem was RC was there and there hard. In racing if you are going to reblock the appex of anycorner and you know you are going to get hit, you better plant yourself there real well or your going to get knock off your line.
Thankfully Travis didn't get his leg in that collision as it could have been bad.
I aggree that the rider in the lead can go where he wishes, I also would have to assess that the rider in 2-20 has the same right to anticapate where the leader is going and try to pass him. Thats what makes it racing.
Patman, if you have no choice yes you nail the guy thats crossways in the track, and then continue. But if you can avoid that collision i say try if it won't hurt yourself doing it.
I don't care for Pro Racing that much at all, hell i only see it if its on ABC, and I am home. I mainly check out how Tommy has done weekly.
What i do care about is the sport of racing and how people it seems now view any contact as "dirty". Johnny hit Joey and Joey's mamma is gona protest really gets old. :uh:

I don't do any kind of SX or MX racing, but that looked very clean to me., It seems to me TP panicked and tried to regain his line and got nailed, should've taken the line he was committed to and maybe still made the podium or at least pointed better.

As far as racing is concerned RC made a fair move, but it was a stupid move for public relations. Maybe RC should walk around the stands shaking people's hands, then again maybe noone will want to shake it.

Not Pretty

It wasn't pretty or popular but under the circumstances it was acceptable. Travis was fast but starting to flounder, RC had five guys breathing down his neck including the series point leader. Ricky could have locked them up, and he may have if he was leading the series, but he's not and he's probably feeling a little desperate. For the record I've seen all of these guys make moves that were a little suspect. I remeber seeing MC jump into the inside of a corner one year at Pontiac and just clean a guy right out.

I watched the race and afte watching it over and over I think RC should be banned from any AMA or FIM races, RC was and almost killed travis, Travis is lucky to be alive. Yep RC was intentionally trying to SNUFF out Travis. My question is when is the AMA going to stop RC, and who will RC target next.
he is an evil man..................

I see it like this,Travis wen't into the corner, inside, drifted a little out, bobbled a little, and tried to come back in where rc stayed real tight inside.Travis should have been in and out of that corner.RC did not push out on travis, or T-boned him, travis came in on rc.I wanted Travis to win bad,But let's face it RC does not need to race dirty,I have no clue, why so many people dislike RC he is a hard worker and deserves the upmost respect.I don't care for the team he is on,but the KID is DEFINETLY A TRUE RACER.

Thanks Julius, after reading this thread I kept thinking about that and planned to ask the same thing. When Bubba does it every ones says that's racing. When RC does it, he's a no good dirty SOB.

It sure looked clean to me. Not to say RC didn't touch him, but it's probably hard not to touch another rider when he cuts directly in front of you. Suggesting it was dirty racing on RC's part is a bit desperate, don't you think. TP is a great rider but it certainly is surprising when he finishes a race with out falling over. RC rarely falls over and is very consistent. The public always votes for the underdog and criticizes the one at the top. Too many people think, "Hey, everyone else is thrashing RC, I better as well". Can you say BAAAHHH, BAAAAHHH. Those of you thrashing RC, shouldn't be so damn judgemental. He's a clean, honest rider and shows integrity. As Joe Sports says, "Those are my thoughts, not yours". :p

Travis blew the inside line and didn't protect it, Ricky jumped on the chance to make a pass on the inside, did not drift out to take TP out. I would have done the same thing with DV right behind. In my opinion if anyone is to blame for Travis going down it is himself. RC got the jump on the inside and Travis tried to get it back and was too late and put himself in that position.

Does anyone remember last year when RC and MC got together a couple of times and then each went out of there way to make sure they were riding cleanly and gave up the position. I don't think RC rides dirty, just very aggressive. It was unfortunate that Travis went down, but he should have held the line from the beginning.

One thing we all share with the pro level riders; having to make that split second decision. Sometimes is turns out good :D , other times not so good. :scream:

TP had to try to recover and RC had to try to take the lead. Contact and crash, that's racing! And it's sure fun to watch. If they all had the same personality and riding styles it would be very boring wouldn't it? :uh: :silly:
