I really learned my key lesson Saturday. It got even worse. My wife brought the wrong key! :think: I had to ride down with Andrew, get a truck key, and head back to the lake. I wound up getting back home at 5.

Even after all that, I still had a heckuva good time. The three hours of riding made up for the 5 hours of driving. :yeehaw:

You'll need to try out for two races, but last I've heard, you'll still be eligible for a trophy during the tryout races (unless they've changed that rule again). Try the novice class, and if you smoke everybody, they'll bump you to the amatuer before the second moto. The first race of the season is at VMC on Jan. 11, so you'll need to get little practice in. Just bring 25 bucks for membership and the entry fee (not sure what that will be). Run any number you have and bring a roll of tape to alter it.

It's pretty laid back racing as far as motocross goes. I didn't race with them in '02, but I'll be making it to several in '03 (they will take precedent over enduros).

There's a 110' foot triple after that. Don't worry about it though, because only about 3 of the oldtimers can make the the double, and they're in the Master A and B classes.
