Damn it 89er, i even have the tutu loaded up and ready to go for you!! Sorry to hear it, we'll tell some lies about you since you won't be there to defend yourself. Maybe about the time you rode down the 91 in your skibbies, with another dude, on a unicycle, with no hands........ Buwahahahahahaha!!!!

So who are we waiting for at MD's then??

Elk
Buddy Brian
Buddy Lenny
.......??

Everyone else I'm sure had a great time. My jetting was off bad, and my bike had no power. I also wound up lost in Pinion Hills residential area until I asked a local for directions.

Ride report:

Had around 9 to start, a few D37 guys rode off on their own, left us myself, Tony, Brian, Lenny, and Joker I believe for the rest of the rides. Old and slo and a couple ventured off as well. No takers on the tutu, I was saddened but I'm sure there will be other opportunities for the newbie to wear it!

First ride on the CRF450 for me. I like the low end take off power and when you snap the throttle, it puts you back in the seat. Surprised that 89whiner dude can hang on, same with Joker cause he's a burly guy as well.lol
We ran the sand hill, ridge trails and fire roads. Great mix of riding I'd say. Got to try out the 450 on different terrains. I think Tony and my buddy Lenny took a dirt nap on a sand hill during the ride, missed it though, too bad. I decided to change directions and go up the wall of sand and I hit the throttle, then all of a sudden I was on top looking over the 138 along with a 500 foot drop!! Wasn't much of a landing at the top of the sand ridge but I grabbed all the brakes I could and stuffed it on top, whew! Looked back and didn't see the other monkeys behind me, maybe a good thing cause one of them may have gone a little too far over the top! Found out that Monkey Tony and Monkey Lenny stalled on the wall of sand, like to cat turds waiting to get buried.

We rode on, ran the fire roads, jockeyed for positions as always and had a blast. No wonder the fornt wheel of the 450 never gets worn out, it rarely touches the ground!

Then we hit the manzanita trail, went down it and lost Tony, Brian and Joker, Lenny and I continued on till camp, then we met up again. We ran the trail back up and stuck together, a couple of blown corners for the monkeys and an upside down cake for Brian, but alas, we made it through. I ran the helmet cam behind Tony Da Rat and got soome good footage, he'll be proud of his tail sliding techniques!! Great job Tony, you can move through the manza's dude. Note to Elk, wear a long sleave jersey next time, my arm looks like I got attacked by a pissed of Twinny! HAHAHA!

All in all, a great ride, weather was super, not too hot and Jeff met up with us with Jr. when we got back to camp. I love the 450 but can see some disadvantages through slow tight manzanita's, felt like I had to clutch alot. It's a great addition to the garage for sure and it'll have a special place in my future riding adventures.

Thanks for coming fellow SoCal riders and look forward to the next run. ;)

Kelso you’re absolutely right, I did get you confused with Chris. I’m thinking its early signs of Alzheimer’s. I wonder it that excuse will work with the wife?

Well.. if the front tire rarely touched the ground it wasn't your limp wrist at the throttle. Who rode the bike for you? :moon:

See, I'm more of a stud than you thought! That's why my left forearm is so huge; big bike, tight trails, clutch-work!

Where is that track. The dirt is too red to be in California.

I rode in the Cleveland National Forest. Which is in California. :moon:

And besides, it's a pick-up. :nener:

Twinny is on the road to bruisin, he thinks he's the president, but he's really just a chump with no Texan friends! They won't have him cause he's gay, he feels at home here but to his surprise, we voted against his type of marriages!! Now get out FOOL!!

You got it all wrong Ponch!

We heard that you SoCal BoyZ were looking to gain some respect here on the boards so you were seeking new memberships in the way of some of us well-healed & hard riding Texans. But ya know what? There are somethings that even a Texan can't fix! :nener:
