Friday the 13th of July..........to be exact but I'am not superstitious :yikes:

I'm not superstitious either, But on that exact day, I finished working nights at 7:00 am, slept til 12:00 noon, got up and decided to go riding with the kids, loaded the KWADS on the trailer, and headed out. tire fell off trailer on the way to the riding area, stole lugs from opposite side tire to hold tire back on, ran out of gas on Predator 500(riding with my daughter in front of me) switched to reserve, ran out again, used buddies sons XR70 as a 5 gallon can to put gas in the Predator, got back to trailer, loaded up to go home, left, had a blow-out on trailer, left friend and his kids with trailer, went home to get spare, low air pressure, filled and went back, changed it, started for home, got within 1 mile of home and flat again, no spare now, left bikes/trailer, went home got a buddy to come back in my truck, sons kwad in the back, hook the trailer back up to the truck, flat and all, sent him on his way and absolutely "BLEW STRESS OFF" on the way home through "TOWN" on my wifes Predator... Thankfully she wasn't around to see me come in the driveway on it, and the Cops weren't around either :p ... Soooo Don, you may not be supersticious, I'm not either, but next time I wake up and it is a Friday the 13th, I may just take 'er easy on the couch for the day... I wish you a Speedy recovery, and hope to see you @ Trailfest...seems you may me an available baby-sitter?!?!? Just kiddin', Likely to be me and Darrin and maybe a couple of other Adult riders coming!!

Update....I had surgery on Fri. morning. The knee was worse than the DR thought, replaced the ACL & both the medial & lateral meniscus were damaged. The cartilage is traumatized & damaged. I am on my back with my leg up for one week and then on crutches for a month with tippy toe weight bearing only. It feel like I have been down a month already........this sucks.

None of us are!

Hope all is repaired and as good as new! Modern medicine (pain management "therapy") will be your friend for a while.

Follow the Doc's advice, and you should be back to race pace for next season!

Heal well; see ya at the races!

Holy shat! You're really jumping into rehab with both feet! I hope you can contain some of that atheism for your dirt riding next spring.

PS. I would skip on the soaps as it could result in a corn dog getting lodged in your throat.

Update,
went to the Dr. and was told 6 more weeks of crutches due to the cartilage damage!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The good news is that I am now able to include the exercise bike into my exercise therapy.
I did get on the QXXD and went for a ride out back on the property yesterday, at least I had a motor between my legs.
Looks like I will be running gas or watching kids for TrailFest

That's great, but it would be much more impressive to get the pit wenches carry you in and you'll be the envy of every guy at the banquet.

Went to the Dr. yesterday for my 10 week check. Was told the knee looks great and is real tight, just keep up the rehab.
I can start to ride bike easy after January.

I can also ride snowmobile, snowshoe, cross country ski using moderation. I can even start light jogging on the treadmill.

I may even have a TV remote/recliner burning party!!!!!!!

Man, am I excited, now to plan a trip south. :ride: :yeehaw:
