Should I shave GG EC head to XC specs ?

Hi I have a 2001 GG 200 and I have been told to get more pep I could shave the head to the XC specs.
Does anyone know how much I should have shaved off and is that the best thing I could do ?

Do you race hare scrambles up in BC? I did the Piston Run and the Monkey Wrench on my '01 XC200.

The only person I took out was some poor guy just as the road ended and you turned right , it to the woods .
I came up REAL FAST on the guy and didn't want to get stuck behind him so jumped in front of him just as he started to break and I scared him then he grabed a hand full of break and I didn't see the rest but it sure sounded painful.....was that you ?

XC head

I would buy and XC head. This would be much easier and if you don't like it, you could change it back and sell the head to someone else.....

Just my opinion....

XC Head is not available in Canada so I thought if I shaved mine and didn't like it I could always sell that one and buy a new EC head and if I do like it I have saved the money the new head would have cost me:D
