shoulder tear

doctor said i have a posterior lateral tear, sounds right, in my shoulder. its the tendon that surrounds the socket, theres a part that is slightly torn off the bone. i got it from a football injury back in august. any1 have this kind of problem?

Is it the same thing as a laberal tear?? The way you discribe it sounds the same.

yea i forget what it was called exactly called, the tendon surrounds the socket and a bunch of muscle from the rotator cuff connect to it. the force of a hit caused the muscle to pull a part of the tendon off the bone. surgery is not needed right away so im goin to race this year and get surgery at the end of the year
