i have a 1984 kdx and that 1986 kdx moter looks the same i was wondering if the fly wheel would fit this bike just wondering if your fly wheel has 4 maggnets just wondering if you know were to get one thanks curtis r

yes the 86 flywheel will fit the 84 good luck finding either

but also frp sells a kit that use the 95-06 fly wheel and includes a " modified stator plate" from your bike I think it is $220

My 2003 (road reg'd 2004) KDX220R. Maeir Rear fender, Acerbis tail pack, Acerbis LED tail light, Renthal Bars (Jimmy Button bend), Risers, Progrip grips, Acerbis KXF style front fender, FMF Q pipe, UFO frame Guards, One off custome tank graphics etc, Road legal enduro tyres, Smith mini speedo, front and rear lights with dip and main beam on headlight and front and rear brake light switches which all run off standard stator (LED doesnt sap power so headlight doesnt drain when brakes are on).
Think thats about it as ive kept the motor standard for enduro's and the likes (I'd rather finish than breakdown in our weather up in the Welsh hills :nod: ).
