Tag X5 Bars

Just wanted to send a note out to ya all about the Tag X5 bars. I recently installed the X5's on both my son and my kdx. We are both using the cr high bends. My son took a pretty mean endoe the other day and bent up a couple of parts on his bike. The bars however are in perfect condition. I placed some teflon tape under the lever clamps and they slid out of the way, so all we need to replace is the rear fender and number plate :| So, if any of you are thinking about new bars that mount in the stock mounts I can without hesitation recommend the Tag X5.

P.S. I have replaced many a bar on my sons bike, so this was a joy to me. :cool:

Yep, I agree. I've been sold on the Tag X-5's and recommending them to others here at DRN.

I would have to say they are worth the money.

Has anybody tried the X5's in the CR Low bend? I am only 5'-7" and wonder if that would be a better bend for me. I tend to ride a lot of single track, tight woods type of terrain. I would say I do as much sitting as I standing.
