Bikes are being hauled out to WY by Mapes and he's leaving LM weekend. That's the conflict. Heck it's only 3-4 of us so they still should have 200+ riders with out us any way. :cool:

Well I'll give a few reasons why I AM going..
#1 it some of the coolest riding to be found in michigan (yes the UP is still Michigan sorry) #2 I suck at riding rocks #3 its a d-14 enduro Event and i think they're cool
#4 its in the Up and my child gets to ride across the Big Bridge ( something about that never changes each Generation seems to be drawn to it) #5 I havn't finished it yet....ring the bell #6 the more People whine about it the more I want to go (and i suck at it)
#7 Pasties- where else do they have a meal that has Veggies ,protien & Carbs all in one meal that you can eat without a silverware !! and you can drive one handed hauling your Trailer and dip it in Ketchup while your so sore you have to steer with your knee while driving on the Grating of the Mighty MAC

same here.. plus :

along with others I expect a low turnout and hopefully some nice points.

I am also hopeing that we ride more of the fun terrain around there. There really is no need to beat people down and smash pipes. People will still drop enough points.

Lastly, I am looking forward to another enduro where you are forced to "play the game" to be competitive. Riding the possibles.... then I will spend time angry that I didnt buy a stupid computer, because some people will drop less points in the "possibles" portions of the race, after that I will fall asleep on the way home hopeing that some day we simplify things and go to a restart format. Then spend part of the next few weeks contemplating buying a computer, only to ultimately refuse to buy one.
