All I want to know is, where was the sheriff department at the road crossings?!? I needed to file a felony complaint on whoever was responsible for attempting to put my life in jepordy. But in the end, I realized that with my cat like reflexes the club ultimately only took 7 of my 9 lives :nener: That leaves me 2 for Hayward. To say I had fun would be an understatement. In the future, please make it a little harder.  I know of a few sections that were not used ;)

... A decent B-rider I know rode this as his first LM, and houred-out in the first section (and he hasn't houred out since his very first enduro!).

It was an ass-kicker to be sure.... Hardest Loose Moose for me personally (this was my 7th LM), and definitely the most technically challenging course I've ever ridden - bar none. I felt defeated, demoralized, and disheartened after the event, but I won't let it beat me... I will be back!

Sweep crew NOT they rode around the mud hole .When I got to gas sweep pulled up behind me I said hey you have a bunch of guys stuck back there first response "We didn't see anyone" I said in that mud hole "sweep rider Oh we went around that" I guess they knew how bad it was going to be sure glad no body was laying in there hurt as long as it took to get some guys out.Kane Trevort was the first guy to give me a hand but the 2 of us were no match for the mud.I helped him dig his out and he was on his way only to seize up shortly after. Thanks to TJC510,Beltnick and a rider I don't know.We were able to get it out but it took a lot of muscle some thinking and a lot of time.Bad line choice by me ended my day. Lots of rocks made for a tough race but looking back I think I had fun :yikes:

I distinctly remember the conversation I had with the sweep riders Sunday evening about the mudhole. Yes, it took them quite a while to get to that point... There were a lot of riders that needed assistance prior to that point. Things got backed up a bit. True, the sweep riders did not ride through the mudhole. They did ride to the beginning of it AND they backtracked to the other end of it. They stopped their bikes and called out to doubly make sure no one was there. They did assist towing someone out of there (I think Kane). Everyone else was out of there. So it is misleading to say the there were no sweep riders or that they skipped a part of the course.

As far as the mud/water hole is concerned, it was a big surprise to us, too! There has never been any water there. All we can figure is that a beaverdam and all the rain caused it. We weren't able to reroute the course at that late hour, so we went out and cut an additional line (Saturday nite -- 12 hours before the race!) to try to give the riders a better chance through there. It was a difficult obstacle for sure. We certainly won't have that in future enduros! (you can be sure we'll still have the rocks, though)

I happened to see Cody and Richard after the mudhole at gas and they were clean... Dad and I were laughing that to look at those guys you would have thought it was mud free ride; whereas, most everyone else was covered in mud.

Hey I didn't say they never got there just saying they went around it the first time. I just didn't think it was a very good job of sweeping.(that section) Heck the ones that got stuck were ready to pay to watch the sweep riders go thru the same mud hole we did .Any way no big deal things happen.I know sweep guys don't like to get dirty. LOL

Cool. Sorry I misunderstood what you were saying; I just didn't want anyone thinking that we weren't diligent or trying our best with the sweep. Those guys had a pretty busy day!

:boss: What you folks don't understand is I the trial Boss put that water hole in there to make it more challenging. Heck when was the last time we faced any thing like that. Awesome. Plus knowing GoBucks was coming I wanted to see if he could float Azzhole said he can.I knew skippy would sink he did! In the end if they let me be Trial Boss next year I will make it easier.

When we left your enduro, Mastin, Bucher & I decided to stop in Wolverine to cut a loop there also as there was plenty of daylight left. Next time add another 10 mile section to them foot hills and don't leave out Armstrong hill Azzhole. Water hole was good idea as it cooled the bikes off after the plains section, good thinking - Must have been your wife's idea
