Yea...that's right! I, Tolle, normally posting as an underdog who normally gets crushed in points accomplished something summer of 2012. It was a little bit better than 2nd place.
I won the women's points championship on my CRF150R! :whoa:
I sold my Cr250, and then sold an 07 KTM I had high hopes for (but was kinda trashed). My beloved CRF150RB is still here though!
When the last 4 races came to be, I knew I was in the lead, but I knew I wasn't fast enough to win them. That meant I had take the position immediately following the racer I had the most competition against. It was pretty doggone difficult, beings as she is very comfortable on her 08 KTM SXF 250.
Somehow, I did it. I got kinda fast on that little 150R, and pushed my competition in every corner possible. I won one race this year, thanks to low gate count, but every moto counted! It inspired me to work pretty doggone hard.
And finally, 6 years after I began racing, I earned the #1 numberplate! (and 2nd place in 450C!!!)
I hauled it home on a 150RB, who knew!?!?!
This weekend, I upgraded to a new ride thanks to my family support, and hauled home a 2012 KTM SX-F 250. I'm thinking the EFI and E-start should be a good thing, since I have to lower the bike 4 full inches to even get my toes to touch the ground, but we hauled it home anyways, because it was so cool.
