That's right .... I am FLAMING the Flame forum!!!!

As an old timer who pops in from time to time, I have to say that the flame forum sucks, the flame is weak in this puppy!

I mean this used to be a place for Nobel Hate Prize winning flames.
The kind that would be talked about on other boards.
The kind that would get you beeatch slapped by the vendor you were flaming while he was refunding your money, just out of principal.
The kind that a guy you have never ever met, but "got into it with" on the DRN flame forum, came from 4 states away to put you into a tree at a harescramble because your best buddy thought it would be funny and told him you would be there and pointed you out .. then you all went out for a beer after he helped find your "shrouds" that came off in the payback.
The kind that would get a guys mother to chime in!
The kind that would make a guy willingly give his girl the pants!
The kind that were once considered epic!
The kind of place that applauded you for telling someone that they were a waste of god's will!!!

WTH has happened to this place?
It used to provide a source of great wit and entertainment?
A place where a poser could feel like he had acorns for a minute until he got slapped down from a moderator!
A place where you could flame the site owner (by mistake) and worry for the next few days when your doorbell rang!
The kind of place where it was more important to use correct spelling and proper rules of grammar than follow the forum rules, cause Rich would berate you with an understanding of English that made you say Damn .. now my P*** hurts!

It would appear that '04 was the last great year, with a few that tried to make a comeback in '06.

That's what is wrong these days, skin that is too thin and a fear of speaking your mind.
The flame was more of a flame on the current state of the world. This flame board kind of represents or mimics if you will, the turn that society has taken.

I get to slam Ivan & Gomer on a regular basis, so it's all good! :p
