time for new boots!

hey all my good old tech 7's are getting bit shabby now
so its time to look for new pair, any one have any
suggestions or boots to stay away from?
if i could afford it id buy some tech 10's!

I went from an over the calf but fairly flexible boot to a set of MX boots the neighbor gave me... and promptly tore my ACL on the first ride. No way to say for sure that immobilizing my ankle with the rigid boot causes more stress on that ACL tendon, but it isn't an unreasonable conclusion.

I gave the boots back ( :( ) and am finishing rehab now... the surgery went great (as surgeries go...)

So for me, I want boots with lots of impact armor, but that leave me lots of joint flexibility.
