Over the past three days I have been searching for a decent online store to purchase a clutch kit for my 1991 KX250. I haven't had much luck to say the least. Some the places only sell individual fiber disks, or just springs or just metal plates. Rarely have I seen a store wth all three, and when they do have everything, it would end up costing me 150.00 because I'd buy it all seperate instead of in a kit.
This debaucle I'm in leads me to ask your help. Is there any place out there on the internet where I can buy a complete clutch kit (plates, clutch springs, and fiber disks)? I'm not brand particular. EBC, Barnett, or any others, I haven't heard any advantages of one brand over the other, although steel plates are a must in this kit. Any leads to a good site would be GREATLY appreciated.

I got a complete Barnett Clutch kit for my RM. Plates, fibers and springs for like $30 off of Ebay :)

Danjerman,
A quick glance to the left column will give you a few places to order from. I couldn't find the clutch page on MX South's site (?), but for DBS it's here.

I looked on DBS, great link! Although I am curious as to why the EBC kit is a good 16.00 cheaper than the barnett kit? Is there a quality difference I should know of?

Some folks have had quality issues with EBC. I read where some of the fiber plates have been thicker than stock and may cause problems. I'm currently running EBC steel plates in my bike with no issues. I haven't tried Barnett so I can't give an you any info there. Do a search on "Barnett EBC" and you should get some feedback.

Good Luck,
Scott
