Ok, I just got the top clamp & bar mounts for Aryn's 85. What a beautiful piece of metal. The finish is so much nicer that the pro taper clamp on my 250. And I got to talk to Paige during the order process, very pleasant and knowledgeable. These guys & gals know their stuff.

Question:
The Install directions call for anti-seize on the bar mount bolts... I was thinking this should be thread-lock?! Anyone have a recommendation?

BTW, thanks Oldguy, once again Dave pulls through! :thumb:

In this situation when you are threading a steel bolt into aluminum you NEED anti-seize.

This is the proper way, and we have a great deal of experience in this area.

But, if you would like to use thread lock, keep in mind you will probably strip out the threads if you ever want to take the bar mounts off. If you plan to leave them there forever, then I say OK.

Was wondering if there is an extension for the number plate mount? The clamps bracket is about 15 mm shorter than stock. Do most riders cut the number plate tab and re-drill a new hole?
