Hi, I just got my first dirt bike, it was a used tt-r 125. I was just riding it today and when I got off I noticed a small leak. I don't know if it is supposed to be there or not. It is coming from a small orange tube but one side of it isn't connected to anything. I don't know the names of any of the parts on the bike so I can't tell you where the tube is coming from.

That sounds like an overflow tube (hangs down the bottom of the bike?). What exactly is leaking out (water, oil, petrol?)

Out of curiousity, how did he fix it? A couple of those hoses hanging off the bottom of the bike need to be "open" so as to allow drainage or venting....just don't let him block it off without determining what it was first.

Well I don't know exactly what it was, but it turns out there was something wrong w/the carburtetor. All he had to do was tap the bottom a little and I guess that did the trick because it stopped leaking.
