I've tried my YZ with/without the spacer and you definately want to keep the spacer. I have the VF-2 BTW but I don't think that they are that much different.

THX stud boy, cause i left it in, and im glad to hear its better to leave it in.

I like mine with the spacer, noticed more low end torque on my firs run with a PC pipe....could go back to stock reeds but I bet I would feel that it was lacking something :) I have a 04 YZ250 as well. Jeff.
