Is it acceptable to mount U shaped frame bracket of a WER damper to the hole in the frame or is it better to just drill the frame slightly lower. Seems to be quite level even if using the existing frame hole with spacers on arm. I've seen it done both ways. is one way better than the other? How did the rest of you mount yours?

I drilled a hole just below the big frame hole in mine. Mac has just used the big hole on his. I felt it would be mounted more level. lower and less chance of moving arounf by frilling so I did. The lower you mount it the easier it is to get the headlight mounted. Less hacking from the bottom of the light.

I agree with Fred T on this one. I drilled hole just below the big hole and for exactly the same reasons, more level and less mods to the headlight plastics.
