What's the best for cleaning Power valves

Whats the best for cleaning power valves on a 2001 YZ 250.

on my cr i took it completly out. it had nasty oil on it. there were no seals or rubber on mine so i put all the parts in a bin and hit it with engine degreaser and let it soak and sit. then i hit it with carb cleaner to finish it up. if your bike has rubber or seals dont use carb cleaner. i think brake cleaner is safe on rubber parts, double check though.

brake cleaner will swell rubber o rings use something like deep creep from sea foam works great :nod:

remove the power valves from the cylinder. Remove the o-rings and seals. Then you are just dunking metal.
