WHOOO HOOO, picking up my 05 EXC 300 this weekend...

I AM SO EXCITED.

Picking up an '05 300EXC with only about 15 hours on it... former owner wants to go MX full time and is switching to an SXF 250.

This is a dream bike for me, after 7 years of riding a KDX 250, I can't wait to get it.

I won't be sleeping again tonite, or tomorrow, or the day after...

Well, I had one quick two hour ride and I absolutely loved it!!!

Great linear power that just doesn't sign off, fantastic handling in hard packed corners and muddy, rooted woods.

I took this coming week off for vacation and planning to get LOTS of seat time on it.

I had a little bit of trepidation regarding the power compared to the old bike, but it's so smooth and fast... in fact it is remarkable how much faster I cover the same terrain I did on the KDX.

ok ok ok ok, I'm still pumped... starting to sleep a little now at night...

I used to have one. Loved the thing. Great handling machine with just enough extra grunt for the hills. Order your parts ahead. The only problem that I had was parts availability...they "KTM" seemed a little slow! JMO
