At my last race at Budds Creek earlier this month, I took a tumble in the mud and bent my subframe on the left side. Now my fender droops to the left, and when I look at the screws under the bottom, I can see where it is bent. Is there any way to straighten this? It is steel, stock on a '97 YZ 125. I am hoping I can bend it back, rather than buy a new subframe, unless I find one really cheap somehow. Any ideas/thoughts? Thanks in advance for the help!

i don't know about bending it back, but i did the same to my kx 250, and found that a.c. racing was the cheapest at $159. (They did have a back log, as that was an older frame) i ended up going with BBR for $215 or so, and they had the frame in stock.

wouldn't that weaken your sub-frame if you bent it back? i would just get a new one.

hope this help
