03 CR250 - Rejet With Aftermarket Silencer?

Hi all,

Flipped my 03CR250 today, bike came up better than expected, except the silencer is dinted and bent in every way imagineable, and I need a newie.

Looking at getting a Pro Circuit replacment, but I really don't want to have to mess with the jetting. Should I have to? The bike is running a tad ritch at the moment, seeing it is bone stock, but not fouling plugs or anything.

I looked at the FMF site, and it said for FMF silencers, the jetting has no need to be touched. Im hoping its the same.


Remember im just talking about the silencer, the pipe is fine :thumb:


Anyone got any idea?

Its unlikely it will make the jetting change much but you are missing out on smoother,nicer power if you dont learn to jet correctly-eric gorrs website has a great guide on jetting and its not hard to do.
