A friend of mine has a 2002 kx125 that has blown fork seals. I wanna try to help him out rebuilding the seals.
I've done seals on a few older damper style forks and it was a pretty easy job.
Are there any special tools that I HAVE to have to pull the job off?
I looked at a manual and the only one I really have questions about is a "Special Tool - Fork Cylinder Holder: 57001-1573"

I'm fairly good at improvising/ making tools to get jobs done. I'm not really sure what this tool does and I figure it could be really hard to look down into the fork and figure it out.

for replacing the seals there is no need to remove the cartridge. however, if you want to do this, you can use an air impact wrench also to remove the base valve
