I've been in 125 class for 5 years now and lately it doesnt feel like the 125 or 250F's have the power that I need. I've ridden two -stroke mostly but was on a 250F for almost 2 years. I've ridden a few 250's and I've ridden a few 450's, but not enough to decide which bike I think is better for me. I'm 5'6" about 145-150 and I'm in B class and i just wanna know if i should move to a 250 or a 450? How much power difference is there in the real world, and does either a 250 or a 450 require more effort to ride?

What do you mean that the 125/250f dosen't have the power that you need? Surely a B-Class rider isin't capable of tapping all the power that 125 has to offer...

You're on the right track here. Get a few more rides and find out for yourself what I can only begin to explain.

I am 5'10, 155lb and a vet rider. I rode 250f's for four years, and liked the bikes. The 250f's were just not enough to get out of the start gate with 250t's and 450's. I chose an 05 yz250 two stroke because I did not like the heavy feeling of the 450's. It also makes more power than I will use.I find the 250t a competitive compromise between the 450 and 250f. You will have to ride them and be the judge for yourself.
