5th Annual Damn Yankee Dirt Rider’s Spring ride

I blazed my way through the jungle of packing boxes in the garage and discovered my bike after work tonight. I went over it and it looks like everything is a go for me. I will be at the park by 8:30 so I can get the video out of the way.

RM guy, chances are you are one of the first to show, so if you see an old Jeep Cherokee with Wyoming plates in the vacinity, thats me.

Kinda hard to give directions to it as its all back roads from Paragon. Best bet is to use map quest or something like that just incase you miss a sign (they are easy to see for the most part). Otherwise you can try and give one of us a call but cell phones dont work the best down at the campground. Mines 814-541-3727 incase you get lost. The campground has a bath house with hot (really hot) showers, real toliets and electric. The site we have doesnt have anything but ground and some trees. No electric at the site. Sick buddy, call me anytime. I am on call all the time so it does not matter. As for anyone, when you come into Paragons parking lot, just go strait to the back til you cant go anymore. Thats our area. I will be standing on my car with DRN tattooed on my ass.

If you guys don't know where to set up when you get to the campground, tell them you are with the DirtRider.Net group and they will show you where to go. Also say you are riding at Paragon and you'll get a reduced rate ($10 per person per night). Late arrivals can pay the next morning if there is no one in the office.

Just FYI.... (I know I know...I'm a motel guy when the thread of thunderstorms abounds, so sue me.)

The Hazleton Motor Inn still has rooms available for $65/night (double occupancy) I just booked 5 minutes ago.

It's also a race weekend at Pocono apparently, so Forest Hills and most of the "cheaper" other places in the area are booked solid, so if you are even considering a motel, book it now to avoid HAVING to camp.. :bang: LOL

Crazy Mike and I are booked and will be coming in late Friday night also! Can't wait to get out there and ride!!!!

MaicoFred-- RMGuy set up all the "reservations". Really, it's one big camp site--pull in to the campground and take an immediate right and park near the barn. There will be room for everyone.
