Just heard from Thump, then Speedy... AJ (out in SoCal) broke his fibula and tibula... in the Ambulance now. Speedy said there was a lot of blood :( Over jumped something (nah, not AJ), "hit some hay bails, foot stuck in the bars". They are following to the hospital, said he's in some serious pain, but being typical AJ.

I'll post any updates. And Billywho wasn't even there!

Yeah that REALLY SUCKS!! I told him (wasn't his choice) not to go to Perris, the track is too easy and really easy to over jump stuff. We had it all set up to go with AJ,JER, AIMEE, and the wife and I to dinner, now he's stuck in a damn hospital bed :( . I hope every thing goes well in surgery, been there and I feel for him! Best wishes for a speedy recovery !
Aimee is going to call me later to fill me in on how it went, if I'm by a PC I will post on his statis, if not then tomorrow ( unless Okie finds out first :D )

I hope he makes a swift and full recovery.BTW hospitals stink. I spent about 6 hours in one last weekend after my Dad slashed his kneecap open with a Stihl chainsaw.

I talked to some folks at Perris Raceway a while ago. They said he simply overjumped a small double and ended up in the heybayles/fence. Pretty ugly. Glad to hear there were folks with him. He's probably worried about the bike.

Please let us know where we can send a card. That sounds painfull and I really feel for him. AJ's a good guy. He helped me with a bearing I need for my KTM. I crossed referenced the size and saw a CR80 Expert used the same lower rod bearing as my old KTM125. AJ said it would work and sold it to me. He was right, perfect fit :)

AJ lives in the Chicago area doesn't he? He drove all the way out to so. cal to ride and ends up in the hospital? What a DRAG. I hope he's OK

Nah, AJ is one of those factory riders. He fly's in, somehow or another an AF is there waiting for him. :cool:

To go thru this must be awful.
AJ, First of all, hope you have a speedy recovery.
Secondly, I dont want you to worry about your bike while your sidelined. You know how the gas can go bad and gum the jets and all, so to help you out, I could give the bike some exersise, keep fresh gas in it, wash it, care for it.
Just tryin to help ;)

I know that bad feeling of being hurt and being far from home. You just want to be in your own home re-couping. At least you have (DRN) family members nearby. Get healed up real soon!:silly:
