sounds like it was a good one, was cool RC came out on top. Reed seems to be getting comfortable with a third place speed, keeps him in the points and he gets handed some 2nd places here and there, like tonight, he better just make sure he beats Tedesco everytime and he should be close in the points. In the lites Langston finally got the win we all knew was coming, he is too fast for this class the last couple years, if he was more consistent he would have RC/Stewart type win numbers in 125's. Collier had a great ride (picking Sorby over him bit me big time in the fantasy league) Also I expect big things from Villopoto in the future he's definately got the fire in his belly.

Both MC and DV switched from their CR250's to CRF450's this weekend. DV got the holeshot in the main, and MC backed up his 4th last weekend with a solid 5th holding off Fonseca at the end (and Tedesco, who got 4th, had the lead in the main, MC never had a chance to really challenge him for 4th).

MC also proved that he could finish top 5 in the deep 250 SX field on both the 2-stroke and 4-stroke, in back-to-back weeks. Pretty impressive, when you consider how different these two bikes are.... and how sensitive pro racers are to small bike changes, set-up, and testing and all that.

How about Chad "crybaby" Reed saying Tedesco rode like a chump holding him up from getting into the battle with RC and Stewart. Uh newsflash Chad he was racing for a position, if you're that fast it shouldn't be a problem to get past.

Yup! Chad needs to learn how to lose with humility, not wine about it on the podium. Just because your a past champion or suppost to be one of the "top 3 guys" doesn't give you a easy button to get around other rides, especially another Suzuki rider. :nener:

Great race!

Now, if Bubba hadn't gone down and the track wasn't so easy...........

RC's excitement over the race was palpable. The guy really loves the race.

THAT was fun to watch!!

1) Reed was much more PR correct on the TV podium, but still seemed very frustrated.
2) Reed on the webcast was as sore a loser as I've heard in a LONG time. I don't think there was a blue flag for Ivan.
3) JS on the webcast podium was near perfect as was RC.
4) Seeing it on TV, JS coming into that corner was going to the outside, Brown started steping off the bike to the outside... short of that fall over, that's the best racing I've seen in years.
5) MC looked great on the thumper, looks like he's a lot more serious about the part time thing this year. Awesome to see him out there.
6) It sure looked like an easy track.

Is it next week yet?

Great race action. I would like to seesome more technical corner sections like the off camber seen earlier. The tamed down jumps don't bother me so much because it allows for good racing, but some tough corners could help seperate the good from the great riders.

As it is we are getting great race action but the top 3 are really not being able to showcase their talent because everyone does the same thing.

This one's for wardy:

-Bubba had the thumper stalled and upside down in the turn.... and it only took one kick to start. Seems like Mike Brown (the only 2-stroke in the main) was down in the turn longer. :moon:

I gotta wonder.... now that MC is 6th in points (just 2 points out of 4th) if maybe he'll extend his "part-time" tour. I would love to see him at some of the east rounds (like STL and Indy). I guess only time will tell. He's been very impressive this year. Anyone that can finish top 5 two weeks in a row on two totally different bikes.... wow.

I agree with ya nikki, it is great to see MC in the mix or at least looking more serious. I have never been a big MC fan, b/c I am more an outdoor guy than SX, but always had respect for the King. I hope he stays at it. Cool to see him get in front and run for a while.

1) gotta agree with Okie on the Reed comment. But on TV he seemed more disappointed with himself than anything.
2) DV12 on the 450 and gets the holeshot after struggling all year. Another nail in the coffin, 2 strokers.
3) Carmichael actually shows some emotion these days
4) Last year, Stewart would have crashed three more times. Now he knows its a long season. Kudos, Bubba.
5) Ride all season, Jeremy. You're still younger than LaRocco.
6) Bubba, don't complain about how 'easy' the track is. Makes you sound like Reed. ;)

thats great , the four stroke started in the corner, excellent , you all got what you wanted 2 strokes are all but gone . they give you special exception for motor, restrict weight on the 2stroke , now they fix the track for your advantage. this is exactly how we bent the rules for the kid from the short bus who wanted to join in the game of kickball in third grade. i am truly disgusted, outdoors wasnt enough for ya. i am never attending another sx in my life . holeshot my arse, theres a 19 of 20 chance what do ya expect. even when there was an 18 of 20 chance the fourbanger couldnt get it done

the coffin is finished being nailed and when they quit making what i enjoy riding theyll be comin for ya on what you like to ride .......enjoy

I agree with you on that, 4 strokes have ruined the flavor of supercross, its just too boring to watch or listen to, kind of wonder if they could introduce a 2 stroke only league due to public demand.

how are these races more boring than the last couple years when they were all on 2 strokes? Been a great season so far, some battles for the lead and lots of battles for 4th through 10th

That race i saw today was awesome! Bubba and RC duelin it out was great! Tough break for Bubba though, looks like he was holdin ricky off, although Ricky was gettin closer and closer. Woulda been some finish if Stewart haddent dumped it! I think Ricky was waitin for the last lap to make his move. Man, thoes guys are fast. Great race for MC too! Not bad for the first race on the thumper!

JS had a pizzed off leprechaun on his tail that pressured him into riding over his head. he bobbled once , twice , three strikes and he was out , it was a matter of time. RC said he was waiting cause he didnt want to make a dirty move on him unless he had to . lap 19 wouldve seen a parked JS .

I agree. RC wouldn't have hesitatied for one second to park that kid if he had too. I bet he just senced that JS was riding over his limit, and didn't need to be parked just yet. He'd put himself down.

I dont think he was planning anything near to that, and since he was on his rear tire then both of them were riding over their limit. These 3 guys have no riding limit, thats why they can come from dead last to make their podium and have true respect for one another, they also enjoy clean racing each other week after week. Sometimes we, the fans get things twisted about these guys.
