I agree with you on that, 4 strokes have ruined the flavor of supercross, its just too boring to watch or listen to,

What exactly is boring about it?

kind of wonder if they could introduce a 2 stroke only league due to public demand.
Better hope everyone stops buying 4-strokes, or do you mean the general public/fans? You could put a electric motor in there are far as they are concerned, they just want to see someone face plant on the face of a triple.

I dont think he was planning anything near to that, and since he was on his rear tire then both of them were riding over their limit. These 3 guys have no riding limit, thats why they can come from dead last to make their podium and have true respect for one another, they also enjoy racing each other week after week.

that makes no sense, first of all. second did you listen to the post race interview?? third what does being on someones back tire have to do with riding over your head??.

In the webcast press conference RC stated he was planning a late race move but had lost track of what lap it was, said he was shocked when he got by James after he went down and the white flag came out, said something to the fact wow I left that too long to try to make a move.

Now that we got rid of all those outdated 2s, they should start working on getting rid of those lagging Hondas

Langston

All I can say is that I am not impressed by Langston. To keep it simple and short, should'nt he be racing with the big boys in the "250" class at this stage in his career instead of against the up and comers?

Who are you kidding? Do you think RC wanted to win by such a narrow margin??? Do you think MC liked it when he really had to try just to get 2'nd place??? You could tell that CR was REALLY enjoying the fun racing at A2, I know I could tell he was having a blast settling for 2nd. Guys like RC, CR, MC, and JBS are used to winning and if they aren't in first place, I doubt they're having much fun.

Yes these guys have limits, JBS was flirting a little to hard with her and she slapped him in the face.

It was fun watching MC smoke everyone to the first turn on the CR250 last week...

Nope not many are riding the 2 stroke but it still is competitive...The top 3 would still be in the top 3 if they were riding 2 strokes...

Only if they get good starts and not starting from the back pack.

You can tell by the way they try give credit to each other at the podium.

I think MC is "test riding" for Honda these days. That is where his paycheck was coming from last month, so I have been told.

If he is "test riding" he will ride what Mr. Honda thinks he should ride.

You guys can come and reclaim my 2 stroke after youre done prying my gun from my cold dead hands. :nener:

I am so sick of Langston, he needs to move up! Over at racerxill.com I read that he was leading by 6 seconds at one point in the race.

HEY NOW! Them's fightin words buddy. :coocoo: :rotfl:

Thank God they finally got rid of those noisy, smelly, oil drippin ring dings. I always knew it was just a fad. ;)

Finally, the season we have been waiting for and all the bikes sound like real motors instead of tiddlers. Sit back and enjoy. It's gonna be a good one.

I'm confident RC could have passed Bubba sooner. RC was on his azz nearly the entire time. When Bubba did pull a gap, RC rode faster to pull the gap in. In A1 RC was not rewarded for pulling a hyperspeed pass on Reed. And we saw Bubba even take his own sweet time before passing Reed. RC said himself he was caught up in the moment, it was a great chase and he didn't want it to end. Why? Because he was building his confidence with each lap (I got this kid's number!)

He was waiting for a good opportunity to pass for sure. I think he was waitting a little TOO long, but he got lucky and was able to easily go by him when Bubba went down.

As for Reed? How many times has that guy come in 2nd or 3rd? He rides his heart out and seems to fall short nearly every time. It only took two losses (in canada) before Carmichael started cussing on the podium. I think Reed's been a pretty good sport till his recent comments...which I agree were stupid.

But, the crybaby is ahead of Bubba in points :)

I don't know where to start GEEEEEZZZZ.........

Ok Nikki, Try this, James crashed on the start and took a while to get going due to the fact that he is riding a POS deisel TURD> :) Brownie crashes on the 18th LAP and he gets up slower, HELL yes he is tired not "fresh" 50 feet off the line. JS was on a flat corner, brownie was under his bike in a berm corner.......not that it will change your mind on starting habits. but so you know, apples need to be compared with Apples. :bang:

The rest of this post is going happen every week til one of the boys gets pissed and plants the other in the next zip code. When that happens we will see what the pro dept will do. One good block pass and this series could be over for the season. As serious as this will get, if this racing is this good in 6 weeks, be watching some one will be hitting the ground hard. Its the nature of the beast.

And NO i didn't read 5 pages of this.

LOL

wardy

oh and maybe RC didn't want to get landed on, that has happened before hasn't it? ;) he was waiting til the right time to pass, and it presented itself.......

Wardy, wardy, wardy.... I was talking about both riders, Anaheim 2, lap 18, same turn. Brown was down first, in the middle of the turn. Then Bubba came around, saw Brown down, lost his concentration, went high, and went down too. Bubba's bike was upside down in the berm. He flipped it back over, and started it in one kick. Seems like it took 2-stroker Brown longer to remount and get back going. :moon:

:uh: I'm such a pain in the ass. :boss:

it never died, and if it did, seeeeee why i don't argue with females! HA! I learned that crap like 20 years ago.

and YES you are a pain in the ass, with way to much "work" time on your hands.

:bang:

only other excuse could be Brownie was in what 18th? place, and no real hurry, while James was in the lead not paying attention. :nener:

Are you actually suggesting that the same guys placing in the top 3 in every race of the season so far wouldn't be in the same placing on 2 strokes ?
LOL...I guess that in some peoples minds 5th place is better than 4th place ? Getting a holeshot on a 2 stroke is not competitive ?

And certainly the manufacturers who pay these top riders millions have no say so on what bike they ride or what their riders say in interviews?

Each rider is a representative of the company that hires them and it is their job to represent the company's product and to win...

And the move to 4 stroke race bikes in both the premier MotoGP class and in MX and SX has nothing to do with environmentalism and the EPA?

Companies are required to meet regulations set forth by the EPA and it is not restricted to dirtbikes...Every car manufacturer faces these same regulations...

He was paying attention enought to start that diesel with one kick...

I got Tboned going around a guy on one of dem 450 diesel turds at the last enduro of the season, I ended up 30 feet in the weeds on his front fender. My bike was layed to waste at the point of impact. I politely asked him "didnt you see that @#*&^# turn, it was ribboned off, he seemed confused so I helped him by giving his throttle a couple of good twist as I crawled out from underneath. Didnt see him the rest of the day, I dont suppose it started like my RM 250 on the first kick. :boss:

So John ...
It's all a big conspiracy? You mean I'm really not faster on a 4-stroke than I was on my 2-strokes?
RC, MC, Bubba, Reed, LaRocco, DV, Ivan... the entire professional rank and file are playing the "let's lie to the public game? They all been forced to ride the 4-t's?

I've said before BTW, the top three would be top three on pitbikes. Leave those freaks out of the equation.

Maybe you are faster on your 4 stroke...No one is puttting your 4 stroke down or said that your 4 stroke is not a good bike okie...

I'm saying that the whole move to 4 strokes is a government regulated move and much of the motivation for riders to switch is their employer that pays them millions to represent their product..Don't think for a moment that RC or CR isn't briefed on how to handle interview questions that pertain to their bikes. Do they really like the 4 stroke better indoors? They say they do but they say lots of things that they are paid to say so I take it with a grain of salt keeping the facts in mind.

And back to what I said earlier...It was good to see MC smoke everyone one a 2 stroke to the 1rst turn...I would say that is clear evidence that 2 strokes are competitive in SX.

I guess i just need to keep posting this link til everyone hears it? $4 Strokes were decided upon from the Sales departments of the manufacturers. number one reason. not ONE of those pro's in the top ten likely have a "choice" it's deisels or arenacross.....LOL....in which arenacross last week was LONGER track and likely anyone 7th or lower made more money going to Guthrie.
