Grant is a great rider, maybe not as fast a some but faster than most. I don't think he rides with any more "aggressiveness" than RC ever has. :laugh:

what about the year before?? when he was leading going into the last round?? you dont lead upto the last round by riding slow and you dont get slow world champs, greg, langston, everts, tortelli any one care to say these are slow riders? bubba is fast without a doubt, but how many championships has he thrown away in how many seasons?? unfufilled potential is mostly what bubba has-he could win many many titles and be the best/fastest rider ever, he could also never win another title.
I agree. I also thought that both riders dished it out to each other, who knows how it actually started, all I saw was Tyler plant Grant after GL was trying to get by TE. Then I saw GL take out TE's front wheel, to me as payback. Boths were more then "rubbin is racin'", but as long as know one is getting hurt/injured, it makes the racing more interesting to me. We already have some spice going into the second round. I was impressed for Tyler to be riding that well, maybe their feud is going because they are the top two in the "world thq series".
As for GL being an A hole, I dont know him personally, but I have met him several times he was totally cool. He actually took time to carry out a conversation with me.......

You dont know much about the GP riders do you. Between riders here and riders over seas there are more than 10 that are faster than langston. I open a mag up to look at who won what races this year in the 125's and what do I see a pic of Langston taking out Eric Sorby. He is a dirty rider. Fast yes he is. But he is no Everts or RC
langston claims he can beat bubba!! now that seems pretty damn cocky for a guy who didn't even win a national this year!! sure he is faster than i could ever hope to be, but atleast i can give credit where credit is to. he may be fast on a bike, but as a person i have no respect for him.
he won by default, when bubba raced he somked them, if troy had not been cancelled ryno would have won, if brown had been healthy langston wouldn't have been even close, not to mention jesseman was out all year. sure he was most consistent but he won because everyone else was out. top ten in the world? you are ****ting yourself, he is what a 5th or 6th place guy outdoors when he races 250's? he is fast no doubt but there are many that are faster.

Langston beat brown in the world gps as well-how many times does he need to beat him to prove it?? I think brown lucked into the only championship hes ever won, when langstons wheel broke.As for bubba-bubba lost the title by crashing and hurting himself-Langston or anyone didnt force him to make this massive mistake-riding fast doesnt make you a champion-ask Bradshaw.
marcusgunby, come on man you know enough about racing to know you don't luck your way into a title. Brown put himself in the position to win the title and Grant broke his wheel, I don't see any luck in it. Just like this year the best man won. I can see that Langston is not RC/Bubba speed but his is the next step down. He is on pace with guys like Ryno and Ryno did beat Everts in the qualifying moto at the MXdN's. Langston is a top ten rider, at least, at any gate he lines up at. For some kid to say that Langston can't back up his talk with his riding IS funny. Natural Grant is going to say he can beat Bubba, what is he going to say? I hope I can get second? Champs don't think like that and Grant is a Champ.

as for ryno, everts i think beat him every round of the world gps when ryno was doing them, so i dont think he is of the same calibre, everts has many titles and ryno none.
I would rate Langston top 10 in the world and top 5 on a 125.

I know marcus, it just bugs me when people say Brown got lucky on winning that title, they had the same amount of DNF's that year and the best man won. I thinks it funny when people call a guy they never meet an SOB, you know if Grant showed up to a local race the same people would be all over the guy telling him how much they like him.
I know that Ryno is not in the same league as Everts, I'm just trying to show that speed difference is not night and day. I knew we would find some common ground one day. HAHAHA!!!

People are finding its easier to let bubba beat bubba, than to try to race him.

Langston in a also ran as a SX rider. If he would focus on outdoors his placings would be in the top three. Bubba was SOO much faster at Broome where I watched them both, I have a little trouble believing he really thinks he's in that league. Bubba, RC, KW, and possibly Everts are in the same speed class. Everyone else was racing for second or third. The difference was stunning to watch. When Stewart goes to the 250's Langston (if he's still elgible) will again be a contender in the 125's. Forget the 250's until JS, RC, KW are gone. Doesn't make sence for either KTM or Grant to move there.

I may have some strong views on people I have never met but I call them like I see them and I stand behind what ever I say on the internet. Lanston is no top 10 in the world. Bubbba got hurt,, it happens. Bubba will be smarter next time just like RC learned. If you guys think Langston got screwed out of the championship when his wheel broke. How about Ryan Hughes????? His chain broke on the last lap in 94 or 95 I think it was and he lost the 125 championship and now he gets porked out of it again because they cancel the last round this past season. That is tough. But its racing and it happens. And if you wanna talk about bad luck. When Ryno moved over seas all his stuff that he owned was on a boat. It was all stolen!!!! So lets go over things. Bubba got hurt and then came back to stomp everyone and prove that the other riders are no wheres near the fastest 10 in the world. Ryno got screwed again but is still the man. Langston got his championship that he should have had when he lost his spokes but is now labeled a Paperchampion cause he won on default. And Dan105 is the DRN outcast :)
