BEST OTD price on a 05 Honda CRF 450 ????

I live in CA and was wondering what the best OTD out the door price other people are getting on there 05 CRF 450's. I don't care what state you live in I am curious to who is getting the best price and from what dealer. I can get one here in CA for $7100 OTD or $6600 in Oregon where there is no tax and they will deal more. Also just for reference you can get a new left over Yamaha YZ 250F for $5050 OTD in CA right now at a couple of dealers and new 04 RMZ or KXF 250F's for $4800 but they have a lot of problems so I think they would go even lower since so many dealers have lots of them left. Thanks

My God, when did we start paying 7 grand for dirtbikes?

It's OK if you've got dough, but what about the average kid racer who wants an equivalent bike? I could see this whole thing sliding out of control.

As in medicine....who's gonna pay for all this technology? Here's hoping we're not going to be dealing with $10,000 computer actuated valvetrain bikes in less than 5 years... :|

Of course, I do wish that thought process all the best, because all it will do is keep the 2 smoke alive. ;)

Shoot me an email at james.bilbrey@verizon.com and I can send you a link to a dealer in the LA area that usually has great prices. I was quoted $4499 OTD on my TT-R250 and the MSRP is $4399. They seem to stay right at the MSRP on all of their bikes. I would post the link, but I am new and not familar with the rules of the forum.

Try Abernathy's Cycle in Union City, TN. They are/were a DRN sponsor. I've never seen OTD prices as low as Abernathy's.

Abernathy does have killer prices. They have the crf450 listed just below $6000.

The bad part is they don't ship. :(

I would give Service Honda a call.

one more place you should check is Hayward motorsports in Hayward california near San Fransisco. My hubby bought his wr450 out the door for 6000.00 Everyone else was base at that price and that didn't include sticker and taxes. IT's worth the drive.

Yeah I know them they are called Eastbay Motorsports in Hayward they are $7100+ for a 05 CRF 450. They are blowing bikes out for CA prices though, they also match any advertized price. Some examples are and these prices are all OTD and registered in CA. 03 YZ 125 $3580, 04 YZ 125 $3750, 04 YZ 250 $4880, 04 YZ 250F $5038, 04 YZ 450F $5888, 04 WR 450F $5880, 04 CR 250 $5000 04 KX 250F $4588. These are really good prices for CA but I bet the rest of the country gets these kind of deals all the time. These prices are all listed in the Northern CA Cycle trader.
